Children’s Counseling in Charlotte and Belmont

For children ages 6 through 12, I provide art and play therapy in all of my offices.

This includes clean, bright and child-friendly areas, designed specifically for smaller clients.

These areas are equipped with sand trays, an abundance of art supplies, board and other games, little furniture, dolls, stuffed animals and play figures.

Because traditional talk therapy is not used for children, alternative modalities in the art and play spectrums allow them to express their thoughts and feelings in non-verbal ways, which are observed and evaluated by the therapist.
